The United States rulers are increasingly becoming impatient with Ukrainian ruler Volodymyr Zelenksy’s lack of negotiations. The U.S. also wants a recorded apology from the war mongering state and says that Ukraine is running out of time as American public support wanes.
During what was reported as a “shouting match,” the Ukrainian leader again ruled out the possibility of talks with Moscow, demanded security guarantees from Washington, refused to acknowledge that Kiev’s forces are experiencing manpower shortages, and implied that Vance could not have known anything about his country’s problems because he had never been there.
On Friday, Fox News reported that If Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky wants to resume negotiations with the U.S. on a rare earths deal, he will have to publicly apologize for his demeanor during a meeting with US President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance. The outlet cited an unnamed American official.
In a report on Monday, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy said that “there’s quite a disconnect happening here at the White House with their allies in Kiev.” He further claimed, “I have been told by a senior official here that nothing’s gonna happen with this minerals deal until Zelensky goes in front of cameras and makes an explicit public apology for the way that he behaved… in the Oval Office.”
Hours after the confrontational display of parasital rulers on Friday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio similarly advised Zelensky to apologize “for wasting our time… [and] turning this thing into the fiasco for him that it became.”
National Security Adviser Mike Waltz described Zelensky as the “problem” due to his refusal to “talk peace.” “Time is not on his side. Time is not on the side of just forever continuing this conflict,” the official said.
Zelensky maintains he does not owe anyone, let alone Trump or Vance, an apology.
