Is The U.S. Preparing For Retaliation By Russia?

The United States ruling class may be concerned that they have provoked Russia into an attack. Since Joe Biden “allowed” Ukraine to use long-range missiles to strike Russia, Kyiv has done so. This was supposedly Russia’s last “red line.”

U.S. rulers warned on Wednesday that a “potential significant air attack” on Kiev is likely coming, and have therefore announced the closure of the U.S. Embassy in the capital “out of an abundance of caution”.

This follows immediately on the heels of Ukrainian forces having struck an arms depot inside Russia with U.S.-supplied weapons, specifically the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), on Tuesday, according to a report by ZeroHedge.

“Embassy employees are being instructed to shelter in place,” a new alert on the embassy website said. “The U.S. Embassy recommends U.S. citizens be prepared to immediately shelter in the event an air alert is announced.”

The right is accusing the leftists of igniting World War 3 with a mere two months to go until Donald Trump is sworn into office. Many conservatives have blasted the Biden administration and the last-minute greenlighting of long-range strikes on Russia–even knowing full well the Trump administration plans to pursue peace negotiations.

Ukraine’s military has since said that warnings of a large-scale missile attack from Moscow forces are likely a “psychological operation” carried out by Russia, precisely in order to instill fear and cause further embassy closures.  It seems that there isn’t actually much fear of a Russian retaliation because the West has crossed literally every red line Russia has laid down without any kind of response. Could this be the last line for Russia? Or is Ukraine’s military correct and this is simply a psychological operation?
